Alpha is a multimedia web development and video production studio in Portland Oregon. I created a library of images and vintage portraits for them to use in the building and branding of their new website. It was quite allot of fun and a great space to shoot with tall east facing windows with tons of natural light pouring in, it made my job easy. I got to use some film in the process, shooting large format 4×5 portraits on Fuji B&W instant film with my Graflex Speed Graphic and Aero Ektar Lens, as well as the requisite digital photographs. Here are some of the 4×5 portraits along with some digital shots. After we were done the Alpha brothers fed me some BBQ and I hung out playing video games while they worked, good times.
