I recently did some product photography for Green Layer apparel, an environmentally conscious active wear company based in Portland Oregon. The very technical garment designs, and fabrics, required a modern and more striking visual representation. We chose to represent the garments under a direct and somewhat dynamic light-source, granting movement and texture to the photos. The process of modeling the garments is very time intensive but also contributes to the overall active and modern feel we were going for. The photography well be used to represent their garments in a new website, including e-commerce, and a print catalogue.
